Introducing Tucker Mathew Hounshell
Introducing Tucker Mathew Hounshell
Monday November 27th at 3:11PM, Tucker Mathew Hounshell came into the world punching, kicking and screami ng. We may need to consider singing lessons soon because the boy's got pipes. And a boxing career is not out of the question - he's got a mean right cross. He weighed in at a respectable 9 lbs 1 oz and was 21 inches long. M ommy and baby are both healthy and anxiously awaiting the green light to go home. (He looks just like Daddy!!) Share this post: email it! | bookmark it! | digg it! | kick...

John Boehner is not broken!
John Boehner is not broken!
Following the posting of my Google Adsense nightmare , I'd like to expand upon some points I raised about customer service. In 1990 John Boehner (R), the recent House Majority Leader, was elected to the House of Representatives, 8th District of Ohio - my district. In early 1993 I was finishing up a three year tour in Germany as a Sergeant in the US Army. I got orders to move back to the US to Ft Lewis, WA, to help fill out the 9th Infantry Regiment, which had just made a big move from Ft Ord, CA...
Google Adsense Nightmare
Google Adsense Nightmare
I've had my GMail account for a while now, two years maybe? Since getting that account I pretty much use it for all things Google - like Adsense, Statistics, etc. I figured that since I was using Google's stuff I might as well use that same Google account for everything. Well, that may have been my undoing, at least it felt like it was the last few days. Earlier this year a client I was doing some work for, we'll call them KB Trim, added my GMail address to the list of users allowed to access their...

Ohio State vs Michigan, Part II?
Ohio State vs Michigan, Part II?
What a fantastic game. Ohio State and Michigan are obviously the best two teams in the country. I'm sure had the game been played in Ann Arbor it might have had a different outcome. It will be a great injustice if Michigan does not get to play Ohio State again in the title game. I can foresee little that would cause me to change my mind. I don't even think a USC blowout over UCLA or a Florida SEC finale by large margins should propel either team into the National Championship. And as much as I like...
Go BUCKS - Michigan sucks!
Go BUCKS - Michigan sucks!
Find more here along with some great music !! Even God hates the Wolverines: GO BUCKS !! The Random House College Dictionary defines Wolverine as a stocky, North American mammal, of the weasel family. Yup, that pretty muchs sums up the Michigan Wolverines. The eternal Mother vs. Father fight for a baby boy name
The eternal Mother vs. Father fight for a baby boy name
I think I figured it out - why we have been debating for 8 months and we still haven't decided on a baby name for our unborn son yet. We actually gave up for about 3 of those months and just recently started talking about it again. We figured we might try to nail something down since we're less than a week away. Anyway, back to my point - the reason it takes so long is ... Mothers want a name that is cute for a 4 year-old boy, names like: Bryce, Tristan, Jackson, ... Fathers want a name that will...

ASP.NET AJAX updates - Beta 2
Now that you have finished updating to Beta 1 last week; here comes Beta 2 - get it all here . There is a breaking change or two so make sure you check out the release notes. Matt Gibbs provides a little background on ASP.NET AJAX Beta 2 . Shawn Burke tells us that there is a new AJAX Toolkit available , too. It appears that one of the fixes is the "Extenders don't work in Templates" issues. That is good news. Published with blogmailr Share this post: email it! | bookmark it! | digg it! | kick it...
